Usman, 35, had Leon Edwards, 30, headed to a decision defeat but the challenger pulled off a spectacular triumph in Salt Lake City with a leg kick knocking out the Nigerian Nightmare in a nightmarish fashion.
Having won the opening rounds, Edwards struggled on the scorecard against Nightmare but with one minute left on the clock, he delivered a walk-off KO to claim victory inside the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States on Saturday, August 20, 2022, to win the welterweight title in a miraculous manner.
