Kotoko to play four pre-season matches in Sudan
Reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be playing four of their pre-season games in Sudan as confirmed by the club.
The Reds will spend 10 days in Sudan, starting from Monday, August 22, 2022, and will participate in four friendly encounters against Sudanese champions Al Hilal twice, Tanzania’s Simba SC, and a CAF Confederation Cup team
Kotoko cancelled their scheduled plans to have their pre-season games in Turkey due to visa issues.
To strengthen their squad, the Ghana Premier League champions were able to make 10 signings before the deadline of the transfer market including the signing of a new head coach Seydou Zerbo.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s first match of the season is in the CAF Champions League preliminary round where they will face Burkina Faso’s Rail Club de Kadiogo
