Joseph Esso scores double in Dreams’ win over Aduana at Dawu

Joseph Esso scored a brace for Dreams FC in their 4-2 win over Aduana Stars at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu in match week 14 of the Ghana Premier League.

The win stretches their unbeaten run to eight games in the league. Their last defeat came at home against Asante Kotoko on December 20, 2020.

Esso opened the scoring in the 16th minute and his second in the 31st minute through the spot to take his tally to seven goals for Dreams FC since his move at the start of the season.

Bright Adjei halved the deficit for the Fire boys in the 60th minute before Agyenim Boateng restored the two-goal advantage for the Still Believe lads in the 70th minute.

Emmanuel Ocran scored the fourth goal for Dreams in the 74th minute before Osei Baffour pulled one back for Aduana Stars a minute later to finish the game 4-2.

The win takes Dreams FC to second on the league table with 23 points while the Fire boys are 6th with 21 points after fourteen rounds of games.
