Black Stars and Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Joseph Luke Wollacott has joined up with his colleagues in camp ahead of the Black Stars opening game against Portugal in the World Cup on Thursday.

Wollacott who from nowhere emerged from the shadows of the English lower leagues to cement his place at the Black Stars number goalkeeper, playing the last few matches in the qualifiers in the absence of Richard Ofori has been sidelined from participating in the tournament due to injury.

His last minute injury which ruled him out of the tournament did not prevent the shot stopper from linking up his colleagues in camp to support them against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.

In a video posted by the official YouTube channel of the GFA, Wollacott is seen arriving in camp and exchanging pleasantries with his team mates such as Baba Rahman, Antoine Semenyo, Thomas Partey. He also exchanged pleasantries with Technical Advisor Chris Hughton and other officials of the team before joining his colleagues who were set to take breakfast.

Ghana will take on Portugal tomorrow, Thursday, November 24 at 4 PM GMT before facing South Korea four days later. They will climax the group campaign with Uruguay in a repeat of the 2010 quarter-final in South Africa on December 2.
