Former Cameroon assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko is reported to have  snubbed the new job as head coach for the phobians.

It was reported earlier that Tanko was set to occupy the vacant position as head coach for the Never Say Die team.

The Phobians are in search of a new trainer following the exit of Kosta Papic who tendered in his resignation during the week.

Reports indicate that, the year 2000 CAF Champions League winners, contacted the former Black Stars assistant with regards to him taking up the top vacant role in the club but they were turned down by the former Black Stars forward as he expressed no desires in the role.

In the meantime, the Hearts Under-15 coach Samuel Nii Noi has been assigned to take the mantle as the interim head coach until a substantive coach is appointed.
