Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak will not re-sign striker Kwame Kizito, according to sources within the club.
The Phobians, who are 21-time champions of the Ghana Premier League, are on the market for a striker and the former BK Hacken forward was linked with a return to the club.
The Ghanaian second window shuts on Thursday and clubs are eager to finalise deals before the deadline passes.
Kizito was strongly linked with a return to the capital club but according to sources close to the club, two high-ranking board members of the club have shut the door for the striker.
The 2004 CAF Confederation Cup champions are still unhappy with the way Kizito exited the club in 2017 for Libyan club Al-Ittihad and are not ready to admit him back to their holds.
Kizito together with Leonard Tawiah and Vincent Atinga all forced their ways out of the club in 2017 but have all returned to the local scene hoping to relaunch their careers.
Atinga has eventually joined Medeama SC while Tawiah has not signed for any local club yet.
