Full-Time: Results from Friday’s Caf Champions League second leg
The second leg of 2021/22 Caf champions league preliminary round has started with some matches taking place on Friday. We bring you up close with the results and also the fixtures for today.
Diplomates Football Club du 8ème Arrondissement, DFC8 from the Central African Republic was a 1-0 winner against Jwaneng Galaxy from Bostwana. However, that was short of what they need to qualify after losing the first leg away in Bostwana by 2-nil. Galaxy advance to the second round with a 2-1 aggregate win. Delphin Mokonou scored the only goal in the 86th0minute.
Stade Malien advanced to the next round of the competition with a 1-0 home win against SONABEL from Burkina Faso. The victory ensured the Malians advance on a 2-0 aggregate following a win by the same scoreline in the previous leg.
Le Messager Ngozi of Burundi lost at home by 0-1 to Union Sportive de la Gendarmerie Nationale, USGN. The Nigerien club scored the only goal in the match in the 47th-minute through Diori. The win means USGN are into the next round courtesy of a 1-2 aggregate win.
