Ghana Premier League side, Inter Allies, have announced the return of dead ball specialist, Gockel Ahortor, to the club for the second round of the ongoing 2020/21 season.
The 24-year-old rejoined the Capelli side last season on a year deal that was not renewed at the start of the season after a failed stint at Aduana Stars.
Inter Allies, who are bottom of the league log with 7 points after 17 games, announced he’ll join their fight to avoid relegation until the end of the season on their website.
“We are pleased to announce that, midfielder Gockel Ahortor has rejoined the club for the rest of the season.
“The free kick expert is expected to add bite and steel to the team’s midfield with his experience and gamesmanship.
“He rejoined us in the truncated season last year where he made four appearances.”
During his first stint, Gockel Ahortor played three seasons for Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League from 2013 to 2016, where he made 65 appearances and scored 9 goals.
