ES Setif and Orlando Pirates have both arrived in Ghana ahead of Wednesday’s CAF Confederation Cup group opener at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Setif opted to use the Accra Stadium as home venue for the game against Pirates after the Algerian government refused to allow entry passengers from South Africa due to COVID 19 restrictions in the North African country.
Having played against Kotoko in Accra, Setif looked satisfied with the facility in Accra hence decided to host their opening game at the venue.
The two teams both arrived in Accra on Tuesday ahead of the big game.
Both Setif and Pirates all have Ghanaians in their set up.
Former Wafa forward Daniel Lomotey travelled with the Algerians with Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori also in the Orlando Pirates team.
