Dreams FC appoint Ignatius Osei-Fosu as new manager
Dreams FC has appointed former Medeama Sporting Club coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu as its new head coach with Karim Zito reverting to his technical advisory role at the club.
Karim Zito who was previously occupying the role of a technical advisor at the club led the for some time after the substantive coach Vladislav Viric was sacked in February.
A statement from the club announcing the appointment of Ignatius said, “We are pleased to announce that Ignatius Osei-Fosu Kwame has been appointed as the manager of the club, he replaces technical director Abdul Karim Zito who will revert to his original advisory role”.
Ignatius Osei-Fosu who managed Eleven Wonders between 2019 and 2021 briefly led Medeama SC before parting ways with the club later in 2021. The 36-year-old gaffer is expected to guide the Still Believe to a comfortable position on the league table.
Dreams are currently 13th on the league table with 31 points will take on King Faisal on Sunday in the Week 26 fixture.
