Daniel Kofi Kyereh should be the only player with a guaranteed spot in the team – fans react
Ghanaian football fans have reacted to the Black Stars’ performance against Nicaragua in the game that was played yesterday. Ghana recorded a 1-0 victory over the Central American side at the Artes de Carrasco in Lorca, Spain in their final match of the September FIFA break.
Sporting CP youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored the only goal in the match, but another player caught the eye of fans who raved over his display.
Daniel Kofi-Kyereh who played in a double pivot role alongside Real Mallorca’s stalwart Iddrisu Baba ran the field throughout the entire game, stringing passes and pulling off stellar stops to create a steady midfield for the Black Stars.
Fans reacted to his performance. Many took to the microblogging platform Twitter to praise the player.
Kwame Benaiah of Joy Sports started the conversation with a tweet asking who impressed most. “Which player impressed you the most tonight? Me: Kofi Kyereh,” he tweeted.
GTV Sports reacted, “The most underrated Black Stars player? Daniel Kofi Kyere“.
Frank Darkwah of 442gh added, “If not favoritism Kofi Kyereh should be a starter in this Ghana team”.
He added, “As for Kofi Kyereh eer…if only the Coach will allow him play more often”.

Many others lavished praises on the SC Freiburg forward. Ghana will not be in action again until November 10 when they take on Switzerland in an international friendly before jetting off to their base in Qatar for the World Cup.
