Club Licensing board conditionally accepts 5 venues, rejects 13 ahead of of 2022/23 season
The club Licensing board of the Ghana Football Association has accepted five and rejected 13 venues presented by clubs to be used during the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
Reports submitted by the clubs to the Club Licensing Committee did not the committee’s satisfaction. However, five of the venues namely, Accra Sports Stadium, WAFA Park, Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Len Clay Stadium and Cape Coast Stadium were granted conditional approval pending the correction of defects.
Tamale Sports Stadium which was presented by Real Tamale United (RTU) and Tamale City has not been approved. The stadium is deemed Non-satisfactory and needs reinspection. Facilities are to be re – inspected between August 23rd to 25th, 2022, final inspection is on August 26, 2022.
Decisions on match venues shall be final for the period of the first Four match weeks of the first round. The “Club Licensing Committee shall only review decisions of the match venues to update the venue list after 30th September 2022”.
