Bayern vs PSG and all the UCL round of 16 draw fixtures
The 2022/23 UEFA Champions League has reached the knockout phase and there are several interesting fixtures to look out for including Liverpool vs Real Madrid and Bayern Munich vs Paris Saint Germain.
Defending champions Real Madrid will take on Liverpool in a repeat of last season’s final. The two have met four times since 2018 and the Spanish giants have triumphed on three occasions with one meeting ending in a goalless draw. Will Liverpool get the revenge now?
Bayern Munich verse Paris Saint Germain will meet again in the Champions League with the last encounter being the quarter-final meeting between the two giants. The most important of the recent meetings between the two sides was 2020 final which the Parisiens lost by a lone goal. However, outside of the final, the two have met four times recently in the knockout stages with each side winning two.
Manchester City will take on German side RB Leipzig for a place in the quarter-final. There is a second German-English fixture with Borussia Dortmund welcoming Chelsea to the Signal Iduna Park on February 14 before the return leg on March 7.
Antonio Conte’s Tottenham’s injury-time winner against Marseille has secured them a clash with Italian giants AC Milan. The two will face off at the San Siro on Valentine’s Day before the return encounter in a fortnight.
Italian side Inter Milan will take on Portuguese champions FC Porto while Belgian champions Club Brugge will take on Portuguese side Benfica.
Napoli will travel to face Eintracht Frankfurt on Valentine’s Day in Germany before returning to finish off the first knockout phase in Naples on March 7.
