The Black Satellites advanced to the semi finals of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations after beating Cameroon 4-2 on penalties.

Coach Karim Zito’s side kept their chances of winning the competition for the fourth time alive with the victory.

Both team settled for a 1-1 stalemate after extra time forcing the game to travel to penalty shootouts.

Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim made two crucial saves with Cameroon missing the other to ensure Ghana became the first team to make the semi finals.

The former champions now await their next opponent in the semi finals.
