We cannot capture power from NPP with this current posture – Sammy Gyamfi reminds sleeping NDC
National Communication Officer for the NDC, Mr Sammy Gyamfi has charged the rank and file of the party to work within their various dispositions to capture power from the governing New Patriotic Party, NPP.
In a Facebook post on Friday, October 15, 2021, Mr Gyamfi wrote “It’s about time we in the NDC did an honest self-introspection and soul searching”. Adding, “We cannot capture power from these power-drunk NPP despots with our current posture. There has to be a drastic change in our mindset, posture and actions relative to how we relate with the NPP on all fronts. It cannot be business as usual”.
It was unclear what provoked Mr Gyamfi’s post but it will be recalled that at the Lord Commey during the NPP’s Greater Accra Regional annual delegates conference yesterday, reminded delegates that that President Akufo-Addo wants to hand over to the next NPP government thus underscoring the need to work hard to retain power.
Mr Sammy Gyamfi’s post has in an hour garnered over 200 comments from his followers with others supporting his call.
