‘Bring it on’ – Obiri Boahen dares Ex-president Mahama
Election 2024 is still over 3 years away and the two major political parties the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress are having a go at each other already.
It appears the “do or die” comment made by Former President John Mahama has triggered a response from Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Obiri Boahen who is daring the former president to bring it on.
Mr Boahen who is also a lawyer said if what Mr John Mahama said is anything to go by then it means to be forewarned is to be forearmed. Telling Mr Mahama they cannot be humiliated or bullied so he should bring it on.
Former President Mahama said in relation to the 2020 general election on September 7 2021 during his “Thank You” tour that president Akufo-Addo enrolled members of vigilante groups Delta and Invisible Forces into the various security agencies.
And making reference to what happened at Techiman South, he indicated that the NDC as a party have learnt their lessons and will be aiming at winning the elections at the polling stations and also made the controversial “do or die affair” statement which has been condemned by a section of Ghanaians.
