‘Breaking the 8’ means stealing the election results – former minister reveals NPP’s secret
Former minister for Food and Agriculture, Honourable Alhaji Limuna Mohammed Muniru has explained the meaning and rational behind the slogan of the Nana Addo-led government towards election 2024, “Breaking the 8”.
In an interview with KYS FM, “this house is yours, when you are coming into this house, what do you do ? You open, you don’t break” he stated.
“Anybody who breaks into something steals, so their breaking means their telling us they want to steal again. Anybody who breaks something is either destroying or you are breaking to go and steal. Why do you break into your house. So most people don’t see the story they say”.
He cautioned his party, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be vigilant towards the 2024 general elections until they are declared winners.
