A Communication Officer for the NDC 1st National Vice Chairman aspirant Alhassan Abanga Yakubu, Ndekugri Issaka has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) needs someone who can bring everyone in the party together during and after the party’s internal elections to elect new national executives in December.
In an interview with Agyenim-Boateng Adjaye on the Active Morning Show on Wednesday, November 23, Mr Issaka said the ambition of Alhassan Abanga Yakubu, seeking to be elected as the 1st National Vice Chair of the party, is to forge unity among party members, especially the youth.
“The issue of unity is very important and Abanga’s ambition is to ensure effective unity among party members. This is going to be done through consensus building. The NDC needs someone who appeals to everyone when it comes to building bridges to bring everyone under the umbrella. There is no doubt that Abanga will deliver.
“Abanga is a party activist, a business man, philanthropist, and his contribution to the NDC, society and humanity is quite enormous and therefore, he is fit for the Vice chairmanship slot,” Mr Ndekugri Issaka explained.
Mr Issaka added that Alhassan Abanga Yakubu has promised to help the youth in various areas such as business, sports and agriculture among others to improve their standard of living.
