You have our full support – Upper West regional minister assures PassionAir
Dr Hafiz Bin-Salih, the Regional Minister for Upper West Region has pledged his support for the Ghanaian domestic airline company PassionAir. The minister made the pledge when a delegation of the company paid a courtesy call on him at his office.
The delegation was led by the co-owner and co-founder Mr Edward Annan on Wednesday, 10th August. In their interactions with the honourable minister, Mr Annan indicated that the airline has come to stay and that they will continue to provide quality services to their clients.
According to him, the company has decided to extend their services to the Upper West Region. The minister also assured them of the support and cooperation of the Regional Coordinating Council and further appealed for an increase in the number of flights to the Wa Airport.
PassionAir (formerly DAC International Airlines), is a Ghanaian Airline that provides domestic flights to multiple destinations within the country. The airline offers daily flights from Accra to Kumasi and from Accra to Tamale, with plans to expand its route network to cover most of the regions in the coming years.
