You don’t own the place – Ernesto Taricone replies Nungua stool over Trasacco Valley lands dispute
Claims made by the Nungua Stool over the ownership of lands at Trasacco Valley have received a response from Empire Builders Limited.
In a response statement endorsed by Executive Chairman of Empire Builders Limited, Ernesto Taricone dated 5th Sept 2022, it described the claims by the Nungua Stool as “Contrived to cause unnecessary apprehension amongst homeowners and to defraud them”.
Residents within Trassaco valley area were cautioned not to fall for such fraudulent claims.
This situation was triggered due to a decision by the Apex court in 2020 over the said land. The Nungua Wulomo then called on all homeowners and residents within Trasacco Valley on the East Legon and Adjiriganor stretch, requiring them to atone for the lands they currently occupy else they will lose them.
But Empire Builders Limited, the company in charge of Trasacco Valley Estate in response said they “wish to assure all homeowners of the rights, title and interest of Empire Builders Limited in the land at Trasacco Valley Phases I and II (the land at phase III belongs to Trasacco Estates Development Company Limited and was never part of the subject matter of the dispute”.
They further assured homeowners of doing their utmost best to ensure they reside in their properties peacefully.
