Vice-Chancellor of Tamale Technical University Pays Courtesy Call On Chiefs
The Vice-Chancellor of the Tamale Technical University (TaTU), Professor Abass Braimah has paid a courtesy call on two chiefs within the Choggu and Wurishe traditional areas where the University is located.
He visited the Choggu Naa and the Wurishe palace the same day where the Chiefs congratulated him on his appointment and pledged their skins’ support for the development of the University.
The chiefs further assured that, their doors are open for the University Management to consult or engage with them any time the need arises.
On his part, the Vice-Chancellor promised to make good use of the assurance any time the University requires their support and counsel.
He also congratulated the Chief of Choggu on his elevation to the “Nam” of Choggu.
The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Saeed Ibn Bashiru; Registrar, Alhaji Yakubu Iddrisu; Director of Public Affairs, Osman Mubarik and Assistant Registrar Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat, Baba Yaaka.
