There Was One Gay In My Orphanage – CEO Claims
Teshie-Nungua Great Mission International Orphanage Chief Executive Officer, Mr. John Nyavor has disclosed that, there was once a guy identified to be gay in his orphanage home.
For some time now in the country, the issue of homosexuality have been a talk of town.
Many celebrities, musicians and some top most personalities in the country have expressed their love and support to LGBTQI whilst others also speak against it.
When asked in an interview whether he has witnessed anything of such LGBTQ in his orphanage, Mr Nyavor said, ” Yes, I’ve seen something like that before. There was this guy that was brought in here and he never liked girls. You will never see him like somebody who is a guy and feels like ‘let me call this girl’ “.
“At the end of the day we found out that he was even liking boys outside. But he is no more in the home because of that” he emphasized.
He further stressed that he doesn’t understand how two men will get feelings for each other and engage in the act. He therefore referred to it as devilish.
“After checking the guy’s life, I realized it might not be his fault. Maybe there is something more than him because you cannot understand. I moved him from the room to another place and by the time I realized, he started dating boys in the area”.
Because of that, “I had to cut everything off. Because you cannot be in GMI and be practicing such acts” Mr Nyavor added.
Mr Nyavor, when asked about the girls in his orphanage concerning same sex practices, he said he has not seen any among the girls doing that.
He also expressed his view on LGBTQI legalization. “I think those who are trying to make it legal, and those who are requesting that it should be legalized are all having mental challenges because there are girls out there”.
Also in his view as to what the Bible says about LGBTQI, “I think it is in the Bible but I don’t think the Bible says it will happen in Ghana. So if we are bringing it to Ghana, that means we are adding something to the Bible and the Bible forbids that” he concluded.
