Recruitment Into State Security Institutions Has Not Been Frozen
The Ministry of Finance has advised the general public to disregard a “fake letter” that is purported to claim that recruitment in the State Security Institutions has been placed on hold by the government.
In a press release, the ministry explained that the said letter is an attempt by some unscrupulous persons to create mischief. It thus advised the public to treat it with disregard and the scorn that it deserves. It said,
- “The Ministry hereby informs stakeholders and the general public that the said letter is fake and should be disregarded.
- We wish to assure all stakeholders that the Ministry is focused on delivering on its mandate through the 2021 Budget and the Ghana CARES programme to ensure quick economic recovery and structural economic transformation.
- We entreat all Ghanaian to disregard the letter in its entirety as it smacks of an attempt by unscrupulous persons to create mischief.”
