President Akufo-Addo engaging all ministers to assess progress
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has commenced a series of consultative meetings with the Ministers he put in charge of the various sectors.
These meetings, according to the Director of Communications at the presidency Eugene Arhin in a press briefing revealed are three prompt meetings which are to assess the various Ministries work programs so far, to discuss budgetary allocations for the Ministries and workplace program ahead of the reading of 2022 budget.
Also, the exercise aims to check if the various Ministries are in tune with the president’s second term agenda which also affords the President the opportunity to touch base with various sectors to get first-hand knowledge on what is going on.
Ministers that have already met the President include Trade and Industry, Energy, Employment and Labor Relations, Public Enterprises, Youth and Sports, Lands and Natural Resources, and Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
The other Ministers are also scheduled to meet the President in the course of today while others will also meet the President tomorrow when the program officially ends.
