Police Places GHS10,000 Bounty On Information Leading To Arrest Of Takoradi Killers
The Western Regional Security Council (Western REGSEC) is offering a ten thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc10,000) reward for anyone who gives information leading to the arrest of the murderer of one Mr Charles Kwakye on 12th April 2021.
The news release signed by Olivia ET Adiku who is the Deputy Superintendent of Police Head, Public Affairs Unit/WR is seeking the public’s assistance in arresting the suspects.
The incident happened at Amanful, a suburb of Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana. Charles and his wife who were residing in Switzerland came home and were to complete their building and unfortunately met their untimely death.
The Regional Police Command is on a hunt for 6 armed men who attacked the victim and his wife Monica Nda with guns, took away some valuables and bolted on board two unregistered motorbikes.
The police release explains that ” Any person with such credible information should report to the nearest Police Station or call the Western Regional Police Command on 0249983333, 0244591076 and 0245961522″.
18555, 191 and 112 are all toll-free lines given by the Division as well as 02026639122 where WhatsApp messages can also be sent.
Also as an assurance to the general public, the release reads ” The Command assures the general public of utmost confidentiality”.
They added “It further assures, especially the residents in Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis and its environs, that the security situation is calm and under control. The REGSEC have put sufficient measures in place to maintain law and order.”
