No developed country relied on foreign aid, only lazy leaders rely on it – Ivan Kyei Innocent
Youth activist and social commentator, Ivan Kyei Innocent has slammed the President, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo for saying that God will build Ghana’s economy.
Speaking on Active Morning Show, Mr Kyei Innocent said, lazy, unreasonable and wicked minded persons will always look up to God to save them without making any effort.
According to him, China was one of the poorest countries in the world that realized they needed to leverage on their numbers therefore they sent majority of their people to the United States of America(USA) and went back to replicate the USA success story in China.
“The leaders of Ghana have no requisite intelligence and the capacity to think deep to flip the other side to take tough decisions, take risk and grow this particular country, all they want is to stay in their comfort zone,” he noted.
He added that Ghana is headed by people with no leadership skills who do not recognize the country is in a hell-hole and are not able to provide measures as to how to be self-sufficient and build a resilient and robust economy without relying any external help.
“No developed country relied on foreign aid but rather internal plans made by their leaders,” he stated.
The outspoken social commentator added that if the president is able to bring up concrete plans and ideas or put up measure by creating sustainable job opportunities, incentivise the youth by providing the necessary incentives to go into large scale farming, set up creative art colleges, platforms or markets which will include comedy, music and movies; the economy will thrive.
