Ken Ofori-Atta to face Ghanaians on Thursday in a tense address to the nation
Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta is set to on Thursday address the citizenry on measures the government has taken to address the economic woes the country is faced with, President Akufo-Addo revealed.
During a meeting with members of the council of state, the President explained that the finance minister’s address will give Ghanaians an idea of how the government intends to tackle the situation and bring the economy back on its feet.
Earlier this week information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed this move in a statement on Monday, March 21st 2022.
The minister indicated that President Akufo-Addo has already endorsed several ‘far-reaching measures to address the challenges such as the depreciation of the Cedi, high public expenditure, inflation and fuel price hikes.
