Hon Abirigo supports BMC Buuri Malma album with cash, donates footballs to youth
Honourable Francis Abirigo, a member of the National Democratic Congress in the Chiana-Paga constituency has reached out to support the maiden album of talented rapper BMC Rap Kowa.
The tongues-spitting rapper launched his first official studio album on December 30, 2022 in Sirigu amidst exuberant performance from the BMC star himself and supporting artists.
As a way to support the talent of the Sirigu-based rapper, Honourable Abirigo pledged GHS500.00 cash support to the rapper. The kind gesture of the respected Mr Abirigo did not end there as he also reached out to support other youth in the community.
Ahead of the Awarenation community gala which is like a world cup to the youth of the community, the honourable also donated five footballs one each to each of the five communities of Sirigu as well as another to the community’s sole Division 3 team, Sirigu Super Stars.
Meanwhile, the inter-community football gala which is in its season year will kick off this week with exciting fixtures between the communities. It will be a chance for Basengo to defend the trophy they won last year and an opportunity for the four other native teams as well as the non-natives to also put the hands on the Holy Grail by winning it.
