Galamsey queen Aisha Huang arrested again
The Accra Circuit court has remanded a Chinese national Aisha Huang who has gained notoriety for illegal mining into custody.
She was apprehended again alongside three others for engaging in that same act again.
The court charged them for mining without the requisite license and also the illegal sale of minerals but in response they pleaded not guilty to all charges being levelled against them.
They are scheduled to return to court on 14th September 2022.
According to the Ghana News Agency, her plea alongside that of her accomplices namely Johng Li Hua, Huang Jei and Huaid Hai Hun was preserved by the court due to the absence of a Chinese interpreter in court.
