Ghanaian youth turn out to be recruited into one of the military

A document available to myactiveonline, allegedly signed by the Chief of Staff, Madam Frema Osei is casting a damning image about the recruitment processes for some of the security services in the country.

The list which contains the names of 521 persons marked for recruitment into the Ghana Immigration Service is dated February 22, 2022, and has instructions for the recruits to report to the training school at Tepa in the Ahafo Ano North in the Ashanti Region.

Though signed by the Chief of Staff, we cannot immediately verify the authenticity of the letter. The letter also contains names that have been repeated multiple times making it up to the 521.

if this proves to be true, then it will be a big blow and stain on the integrity of the government and the recruitment process. Interior Minister Hon. Albert Kan Dapaah denied there were any forms of protocol recruitment into the various security services.

Ghanaian youth a few months back queued in scorching and passed through other extreme conditions to go through the recruitment processes into the various security services in the country. Several calls have been made to make the process fair and to also refund the monies of all who bought the forms but would not make it into the final list but no efforts have been made to do that to that effect.
