ECG Apologizes To Ghanaians Over Recent Power Outages
The Electricity Company of Ghana has in a press release today clarified the reasons for the intermittent blackouts experienced by many customers which most recently was a nationwide blackout experienced on Sunday, 7th March.
In the statement, the power authority attributes the causes of the power outages to problems experienced by GRIDCo, the National Interconnection Transmission System Operator.
They also through the statement offered an apology to all affected customers while assuring customers of their dedication towards resolving the problem. Customers who experience prolonged blackouts are advised to call the ECG or report to the nearest ECG office or contact them on social media.
