Don’t also wage war against the majority – Koki Anyidoho to LGBTQI+ community
Koku Anyidoho, a former Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress -NDC has debunked the assertion that Ghana is waging a hate campaign against minorities.
“Nobody has waged a hate campaign against any Minority Group in Ghana,” wrote Mr Anyidoho in a tweet on Tuesday, October 12.
The former secretary also charged the LGBTQI community not to also wage a campaign of hate against anyone in Ghana.
“The Minority Group should also not wage a hate campaign against the Majority Group”, he advised.
His remarks follow allegations that the anti-gay bill currently before Ghana’s parliament, backed by Ningo-Prampram MP Samuel Nartey George and several of his colleagues, is inciting hatred against homosexual minority groups in Ghana.
