Beleaguered Madina MP’s bodyguard arrested
Police have revealed that the bodyguard attached to the Madina lawmaker Francis-Xavier Sosu has been apprehended for questioning.
According to the Police, Inspector Daniel Agbavor has been cited for misconduct which was the main reason behind his arrest.
The Police further cited him for reckless driving into a crowd after the protest in the Madina Constituency and endangering the lives of two senior officers and civilians in the process.
Information gathered indicates that it may be the instance where the Madina MP evaded arrest after leading the protest in his constituency against deplorable roads.
Some senior officers are said to have reported the situation to the Police administration to commence investigations and probably a disciplinary action.
Also, the Parliamentary Protection Unit has been urged to commence arrangements for a replacement of the guard for the Member of Parliament.
