Bawumia is a pretender, he does not speak based on data – 2024 presidential hopeful Kofi Koranteng
Mr Kofi Koranteng, presidential hopeful for Ghana’s 2024 election has described the Vice President, His Excellency Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a pretender when it comes to data-driven policy execution.
Speaking on the Active Morning Show on Active TV on Monday, August 22, the Presidential hopeful stated that he would bring data-driven governance into government if he is elected in the 2024 general election.
He stressed that he is bringing a different data analysis government into office, unlike what the Vice President is known to be doing adding that “if the Leader of the Economic Management Team is a Data-driven conscious person, Ghana won’t be on its knees and running to the International Monetary Fund for a bailout”.
He explained that the president has hired a thousand and plus presidential staffers, global trotting in a rented private jet, and has over 120 ministers and that is proof the Vice President is not a data-driven manager, else he would advise the president to cut his coat according to his material.
“These ministers, Ghana pays them, provides them with V8 Land-cruisers, Cooks, Garden men and many others, so where is his data-driven knowledge?”
Mr Koranteng further said “Ghana has become over-dependent on imports, Labianca Foods Company alone imports over ten containers of chicken, our land is under cultivated” so if the Vice President was data-driven Ghana won’t go to IMF.
He concluded by debunking claims of the Russia-Ukraine war and Covid-19 are the causes of Ghana’s woes.
