4-Year-Old Boy Allegedly Killed By Beninois For Rituals At Pokuase
A 4-year-old boy has died mysteriously at Pokuase-Afiaman and his parents believe that he was killed by four Beninois in the neighbourhood.
Mr Frank, who is the father of the 4-year boy that died on Saturday afternoon, was alerted by his neighbours that his son was dying at around 3 pm.
According to him, he found a cable in his son’s palm with four Benin young men standing by with sticks, making no attempt to save the boy.
Speaking to him, he said, “my son could not have died from an electric shock because he never changed colour. Also, he had the cable in his palm, he wasn’t holding it. Someone who died as a result of an electric shock would not be in the state my son was.”
The four Beninois fled after it was reported that the boy had died. One of them has however been arrested and is in police custody.
Following up to their room to find more details about them, it was discovered that they were into rituals. They had a shrine with pictures and names of people written and kept in bottles.
Then the name of the boy’s father Mr Frank was written on a paper and kept in a bottle.
It has therefore been concluded by the family of the boy that he was killed by the Benin guys and a cable was placed in his palm as a decoy to cover the real cause of his death.
The body has been sent to the police hospital for post-mortem and preservation and the family anxiously await the outcome.
