President Akufo-Addo Cuts Sod For Pan Africa Heritage Museum Project
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has cut sod for the construction of the Pan Africa Heritage World Museum at Pomadze in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region. The USD30 million project which is expected to be completed in 2023 will serve as a hub for Africa history.
According to Nana Addo, all looted African natural artefacts which are in the custody of foreign museums will be brought back to their origin. He said, it is time all Africans take our heritage seriously.
He also urged residents around the project site to assist the contractor rather than interfering in its activities as there are over thousands of indirect jobs that will be created as the project commences.
The Omanhene of Breman Traditional Area, Odefuor Amoako Boadu VIII also called on all Africans to support the project as it is another way to preserve our cultural artefacts.
