A Cape Coast Circuit Court has remanded the boyfriend of a Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) student suspected of being killed for rituals.

Nicholas Ato Bronk Taylor, the suspect, was arraigned on Monday, May 16, 2022, and remanded in police custody to appear in Cape Coast District Court B on May 31, 2022. He is facing a murder charge.

Nana Ama Clark, a 24-year-old Marketing student at level 300, is the victim whose vagina was hacked out when she was discovered dead at Ola Estate in Cape Coast.

Meanwhile, several CCTU students staged a vigil on Sunday night in honour of their killed classmate, Nana Ama Clark.

In a statement, the university’s management urged the Ghana Police Service to speed up its investigation into the death “and bring the perpetrators of this horrible murder to face the full rigours of the law”.

The institution continued, “Management wishes to reassure students, parents, guardians, and the entire public that security at the University remains solid”.
