Sonnie Badu replies to critics after going under the nail for playing secular music
UK-born Ghanaian musician Sonnie Badu has generated controversies online over the use of secular music in his background post on Instagram earlier today on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
Sonnie Badu who is also a Pastor and a Founder of the Rockhill Chapel was seen in the video having a treat from his barber while playing Amenor Amapiano’s song.
The video upon going viral has generated several reactions from some social media users questioning his Christian faith in relation to his association with secular music.
The video that was shared with the caption “just a little groom” didn’t enjoy the digital space without backslash and comments.
Some comments read “where from this music man of God? Let certain things differ you from God and this world. The Bible says everything that brings God’s glory we can do it. This song never brings glory to God, be blessed and stay focused.”
But Sonnie Badu won’t allow the comments to go escorts free without replying to their senders so he replied, “mind your business”.
This response has raised tension on social media with many reacting to it in different tones.
But Sonnie Badu in an interview on Hitz FM, after the social media banter with fans earlier today explained that he listens to secular music since it’s part of showbiz that also keeps him updated and well abreast.
