MzGee quits Media General
TV3 and 3FM’s entertainment journalist and television host, Gloria Akpene Acquah, popularly known as MzGee, has quit her job with Media General after two years.
The eloquent show host who previously worked with the Multimedia Group has been with the Media General for over two years now having quit her former place in 2019 while stating she was not been favoured thus her decision to quit and join the media conglomerate that owns TV3 and others.
She said she wanted new challenges but it seems she has had enough of this challenge already and wants something fresh though she has not stated her reasons for exiting.
MzGee took to social media, Facebook to deliver her exit message to the world. She wrote in a short post in which she thanked the media house for the memories while stating it is “time to fly higher”, a hint that she is going for something bigger.
“This is to express my profound gratitude to Media General for making my stay memorable. It has been another opportunity for tremendous growth. I truly appreciate the platforms granted me to give Gh and beyond great highlights! But, it is now time to fly higher! May God be our guide in all our endeavors! See ya!”
Prior to her resignation, she hosted TV3’s entertainment magazine show, “SIMPLY SHOWBIZ” and 3FM’s mid-morning radio show.
