The video of Sugartone, the ace music producer, passing out on the street, inebriated, made people wonder what had happened to him.

Sugartone told Onua FM’s Victor Kodom in an exclusive interview at his mother’s house that the tragic event happened only once.

He also admitted that the betrayal of some of the musicians whose careers he helped shaped drives him to drink. He, on the other hand, is unconcerned with the recent viral video on the internet.

“People booze in their respective houses, nobody talks about them. Is it because I am famous that made it a big deal? I am not even perturbed about it.

“Yeah, I had too much alcohol that day, I admit. It does not give you the power to record me and put it out there. The funny thing is people were saying all kinds of things about me without verifying. You came to check on me, right? Do I look sick to you? I am alright. I am doing my own thing,” he told victor Kodom

The sound engineer went on to say that people purposefully encourage him to rage so they can video him and post it on social media for attention, but he will never give them the cheap publicity they seek.

“You saw what ensued between me and that old man, yea this old man who wants to pursue music at his age, instead of writing good songs and promote, he is intentionally creating a scene to get hype, but if you are born to kill elephants, you won’t waste energy on rats,” he added.
