I Am A Christian But I Don’t Go Church – Fella Makafui Reveals
Fella Makafui, the wife of the popular Ghanaian rapper Medikal has said she isn’t bothered about what anybody thinks about her.
In a recent interview on OKAY FM, the damsel and mother of one revealed that she is a Christian but doesn’t go to church.
According to her, she believes Christianity is a lifestyle. For that reason, she believes every Christian should have a certain lifestyle that will portray Christ and not just a matter of going to church.
One of the notable characteristics she mentioned was having a clean heart. And she said she sees herself as a Christian who has that in excess. From that perspective, she doesn’t need to be in church to be qualified as a Christian. This latest claim of Fella is a bit surprising as almost every rumour about her paints her black.
When she was asked to mention the name of the church she attends, she fumbled and took some reflective moments before she said Presby. That got everyone in the studio laughing including her. She however reaffirmed her statement that she is indeed a Christian.
Fella Makafui gained her popularity when she was featured on the Ghanaian Teenage TV series “YOLO”. The series was purposed on adolescent education and Fella played the role of Serwaa, a street bread seller.
Since then, she has featured in several movies including Kada River and Once Upon A Family- both were received well by critics.
