Davido and Chioma lose their 3-year-old son Ifeanyi
Afrobeat star David Adedeji known by his stage name Davido and his longtime partner Chioma have lost their 3-year-old son Ifeanyi by drowning, myactiveonline.com has learnt. The incident happened on Monday, October 31 2022.
Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool in Davido’s Banana Island residence in Lagos State. The child is said to have remained underwater for a very long before he was discovered and rushed to a hospital in Leki but was confirmed dead on arrival.
Davido and his partner, Chioma are said to have travelled to an event at Ibadan and left the 3-year-old who celebrated his third birthday on October 20 with his minders. However, the minders could not explain how the boy got into the water in their blindside.
No official statement has yet come from the family but colleague stars in the industry have taken to social media to express their condolences in confirmation of the news which comes barely a month before the singer turns 30.
