Dumelo or Lydia as Ballot Counting Continues
The 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections is getting anxious observers on their feet as intriguing battles spring up across the length and breadth of the country.
From the Navrongo in the Upper East where where the Upper East regional minister Tangoba is slagging it out Mr.Sampson Tangombu Chiragia of the NDC to the national capital at the Ayawaso West Wuogon where actor cum entrepreneur John Dumelo is in a power wrestle with Lydia Alhassan the incumbent.
The latter is the centre of social media trolls directed at one of the candidates amid mix celebrations from both sides. John Dumelo’s supporters were seen in a video in ecstasy as they probably had received encouraging results which they assume was what would send their man to the parliament house come January 2021.
They were however not the only side who know how to receive good news as a video circulating on social media showed Madam Lydia smiling excitedly amidst chants of excitement from a crowd of supporters.
The question we all continue to ask is who wins the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat? That would be answered either before day break or earliest on Tuesday morning.
