Bank of Ghana schedules emergency Monetary Policy Meeting for Wednesday
The Bank of Ghana has scheduled an emergency Monetary Policy Meeting for Wednesday 17th August 2022. Development in the economy over the past few months will be very topical during the meeting.
Other issues expected to be on the radar include the sharp depreciation of the cedi and skyrocketing inflation that has hit the country.
The crunch Monetary Policy Meeting which is mainly attended by officials of the Bank of Ghana, some banking consultants and economists were supposed to be held from September 20th to 23rd 2022.
